On November 7th, 2014 I had the privilege of being a part of Zachary and Christine's wedding day. It was a beautiful event from start to finish filled with lots of family and friends, dancing, laughter, and love from start to finish.
I met Zach and Christine through a mutual friend of ours and I knew from the start that they were going to be a great couple to work with. They were both so laid back and comfortable throughout our entire meeting and the energy between the two of them was so positive and fun! They were smiling and joking with each other the whole time; it was easy to see that they were thrilled to be getting married.
Z and C's easy going attitudes stayed with them throughout the rest of the wedding planning and they were both relaxed and excited when their wedding day came. Zach spent the morning hanging out with his 2 best men and 7 groomsmen while Christine was surrounded by family, friends, and her 8 bridesmaids while getting ready in her suite at the Hyatt in Garden City, Long Island.
The ceremony and wedding reception both took place at The Sandcastle in Franklin Square. The ceremony space was in a small conservatory room that kept the ambience intimate and romantic, with the only sources of light coming from small LED lights on the plants and a single candle that was lit at the altar. In a short but sweet ceremony, Zach and Christine exchanged their personalized vows to one another in front of a packed room of loved ones. After the breaking of the glass and those classic words, "I now pronounce you husband and wife", the party got started.
The rest of the evening was a blast. Starting at cocktail hour and straight through the 6 hour reception, it was easy to see that the newlyweds and their guests were having an amazing time. From the martini bar that descended from the ceiling with a flare bartender and the touching and heartfelt speeches made by the Maid of Honor and the Best Men, to the amazing DJ and MC from FM Entertainment that kept the guests out on the dance floor the entire night and the incredible viennese tables, this wedding was one that everyone, including myself, will always remember.
Congratulations Zachary and Christine!!
