Loretta and Matt's wedding was the first event that I ever thought to myself, "wow, I wish I was shooting video right now!"
This karaoke loving couple let their musical sides shine bright throughout their entire wedding day. With a bouquet and boutonniere made out of music sheets and records for guests to sign, their wedding day style hit all the right notes! And their love of music didn't just stop at the decor. A trio of friends rearranged and sang Matt and Loretta's wedding song "On and On" by the bride's favorite group Hanson for the couple's first dance and just before they cut their cake, Loretta's mother grabbed the attention of the entire room by serenading her daughter and new son-in-law with a beautiful cover of "We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters. The mesmerizing moment was only broken when Loretta herself took the mic, turned to her new husband, and sang the song that makes every one swoon and sway, "At Last" by Etta James.
Woah! Talk about a powerful song! The entire room was fixated on her and I even had a hard time focusing on shooting because I just wanted to sit and watch the performance! And as if that wasn't enough talented singing for one night, Matt turned the party back up by singing the first song that made Loretta notice him at a karaoke night, "Keep Me In Mind" by Zac Brown Band.
The entire evening was unique only to Loretta and Matt and that's what it made it so special to be a part of. Loretta and Matt, I had such an amazing time with you both on your wedding day and thank you so much for trusting me to capture your love story. Xoxo!!
