When Sheryl and Gregg initially emailed me about photographing their wedding, they told me how their families were their number one priorities in their lives and that they were an "older couple" getting married. Well... I'll tell you two things. 1) Sheryl and Gregg's families are without a doubt the most important people in their lives. With a bridal party made up of Sheryl's sisters, Gregg's son, daughter, and grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews, their was no denying that incorporating their families on their wedding day was a top priority.
And 2) Age is just a number. Sheryl and Gregg's exuberant personalities shined throughout their entire day as they jumped excitedly along the lake shore of the Lake Valhalla Club and spent the entire evening dancing under the strobe lights on the dance floor. Their first dance was even a choreographed number that involved chest bumps, fake glow in the dark engagement rings, flexing muscles, and the groomsmen picking Gregg up to make him "fly"!
I'm so lucky to have been a part of such an amazing couple's wedding day and to have captured their beautiful, sentimental, and fun-loving day for them to look back on for years to come. Sheryl and Gregg, thank you for sharing your wedding day with me!!
