Amy + Brian // Garret Mountain- Woodland Park, NJ

Amy and Brian chose Garret Mountain for their engagement session on a bright but chilly morning this past November. The preservation has always been a loved spot by these two and it felt like I was getting an insiders tour as they talked about the previous times that they've been there and chose specific areas with great views that were a bit off the beaten path. Despite the cold (and it was another one of those COLD days), they were all smiles during our time together.

Ever since I've known Amy and Brian, and it's been for years, they've always been the kindest people. Always polite, always in cheery moods, and always loyal to their closest friends and each other. One of the most special parts about being a wedding photographer is getting to see this kindness in couples but in a one-on-one setting. Watching Brian help Amy over rockier terrain in her heels or Amy making Brian more comfortable during the session by holding him close and bringing smiles to his face with her laughter were such sweet moments to witness. These are the moments that you don't always catch onto when couples are in more public settings so I am really glad that I was able to capture these genuine gestures for them.

Amy and Brian will be tying the knot at the Wilshire Hotel this coming October and I am really looking forward to being a part of their big day!
